Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification required for working in school settings.
- Experience collaborating with elementary and high school students preferred.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities to determine needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services individually or in small groups.
- Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and progress.
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development.
