Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Current and valid SLP license for the state
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
  • Experience working in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop age-appropriate therapy plans and interventions
  • Flexibility to manage caseloads across multiple school levels

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Work directly with students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
  • Provide guidance and training to educational staff as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt therapy methods to meet each student’s unique needs
