This full-time, school-based contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students for the upcoming academic year. You’ll work on-site from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, Monday through Friday, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek.

Requirements:

  • Active, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina.
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing caseload details and school environments.
  • Comfortable working on-site, with the possibility of transitioning to virtual (Voco) services at a later date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals and school policies.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and maintain thorough documentation of student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective therapeutic strategies and interventions.
  • Attend IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations for each student’s speech and language development.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and achievement.
  • Remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance standards in school-based speech-language pathology.
