This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in school-based speech-language services, including those with their CCC or pursuing their CFY. As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help students communicate more effectively, cultivate essential skills, and participate fully in their educational journey.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience in a school setting is valued
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students as required
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy and interventions onsite
- Maintain timely and accurate student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
