Key Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or training in pediatric and school settings
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children with varying needs
- Experience with SLP teletherapy platforms a plus
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Eligibility for state licensure as required for school-based practice
- Consideration also given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates interested in the school/healthcare setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Deliver early intervention services for children in a school-based setting (caseload focused on early intervention, ages 0-12)
- Provide both in-person and teletherapy services as needed
- Document progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional input and progress updates
- Stay current on best practices and professional standards in pediatric speech-language therapy
