Speech Language Pathologist in Hixson, TN

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows welcome
• Prior school-based SLP experience or familiarity with IEP processes
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
• Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with district and federal requirements
