Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
- Previous experience in schools strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students’ needs
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation as required by district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Share strategies and resources with educational teams to encourage carryover of skills in the classroom
