School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hixson, Tennessee

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
• Previous experience in schools strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students’ needs
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
• Maintain timely and compliant documentation as required by district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Share strategies and resources with educational teams to encourage carryover of skills in the classroom
