Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school environments
  • Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment planning abilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in meetings to review progress, set goals, and adjust interventions as appropriate
  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
