Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA for the upcoming school year. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and serve a diverse student population across secondary education and mixed itinerant caseloads. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and experienced SLPAs are encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in pediatric and secondary education settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy and/or itinerant service delivery models is a plus
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students within a secondary education or itinerant caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on IEPs and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster communication goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote service delivery
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
This rewarding contract position offers a pay rate of $40-50 per hour, depending on experience. You'll work a 190-day contract across four days each week, granting you valuable flexibility while making a difference in Greenwood and surrounding areas.
