School Speech Language Pathologist - Holden, Maine

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Holds or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a collaborative approach to supporting students and staff.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs through standardized tests and informal measures.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student.
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ academic and social success.
• Maintain accurate records in alignment with district and state requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute constructive input to multidisciplinary teams.
• Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy and complete required professional development.
