This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists interested in working closely with educators and families to help students communicate with confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Holds or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a collaborative approach to supporting students and staff.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs through standardized tests and informal measures.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student.
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate records in alignment with district and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute constructive input to multidisciplinary teams.
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy and complete required professional development.
