Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Hollidaysburg, PA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is desirable
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with a diverse caseload of students with varying strengths and areas for growth
• Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and deliver individual or group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress
• Document and track student performance toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs and progress
• Offer resource materials and strategies to educators to enhance classroom communication
• Stay informed on current best practices and compliance with federal and state guidelines
