Two contract opportunities are available for certified Speech and Language Pathologists who are driven to help children reach their communication potential. One position requires traveling to rural schools to work with students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade, while the other is based at a single site, dedicated to preschoolers ages 3-5. Each caseload ranges from 35 to 45 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds current SLP licensure and SLP-CCC certification
- Skilled in evaluating and treating a diverse range of speech and language disorders
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for rural travel position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Provide training and resources to school teams as needed
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure integrated student support
