Step into an impactful role serving students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Work with welcoming elementary students in a supportive environment, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster inclusive and effective communication strategies. Two positions are available—one focused exclusively at an elementary single site, and another offering a dynamic caseload, including responsibilities with both Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) students.
This contract role runs from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027. Your day will start at 7:45 am and wrap up by 3:45 pm, allowing you structure and consistency throughout your school year.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and active SLP licensure in California
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a California PPS credential in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, especially with RSP and SDC populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, RSP, and SDC staff
- Maintain timely, accurate records and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
