Step into a dynamic school-based environment supporting K-5 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time contract assignment through the end of the school year. Work closely with a manageable caseload of 35 students, helping children build critical communication and language skills that set a foundation for lifelong learning.
This role calls for dedicated and compassionate professionals, whether you are an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or a clinician with school-based experience. The school values diverse backgrounds, and while bilingual abilities are appreciated, they are not a requirement for consideration. Hours are conveniently set from 7:30am to 2:45pm daily, allowing for a balanced workday.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience providing SLP services in a school-based setting
- Passion for supporting K-5-grade children with communication needs
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to elementary-aged students (K-5)
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students on your caseload
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using appropriate assessment tools
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services and student outcomes
