Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full school year contract, working in a supportive educational setting near Holly Springs, MS. We're currently seeking two talented professionals to provide in-person speech and language services across two areas, covering four schools and supporting students’ growth and communication skills. While on-site presence is preferred, there may be consideration for virtual services if an SLPA can facilitate on campus.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Active state license to practice as an SLP
- Prior experience in school settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 34–40 students
- Flexible and collaborative mindset, with a passion for helping students reach their full potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy for students across four school sites
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, track student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Stay current with best practices and relevant regulations in the field
