Shape the school year by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for several innovative K-12 schools near Hollywood, FL. This contract opportunity allows you to leverage your skills in both clinical fellowship and CCC-level roles, working within a positive and collaborative educational environment. Flexible part-time and full-time hours are available across multiple campuses, offering varied weekly schedules to accommodate your preferences.
You’ll contribute SLP services across multiple educational settings, supporting students at:
- Renaissance Charter School at Tradition (31.5 hours/week)
- Tradition Preparatory High School (15 hours/week)
- Innovation Academy of Excellence in Collaboration with Tallahassee State College (1 hour/week)
- Union Park Charter Academy (16 hours/week)
- Four Corners Charter School (23-28 hours/week)
- Downtown Miami Charter School (4-5 hours/week; 2 days/week)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state SLP license in Florida (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- School-based SLP experience highly valued, but strong CFY applicants encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between assigned school locations as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy for K-12 students with speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Engage with families, staff, and students to maximize positive student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
