This contract role offers a dynamic, multi-site schedule, perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to enrich the academic experience for diverse student groups.
You’ll provide services at several schools, including 32 hours weekly supporting elementary and middle school students, 15 hours each week assisting at a preparatory academy, and 6 hours helping high schoolers develop their communication skills. School-based experience is valued, and both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates are encouraged to apply. The school year begins August 10th, so your expertise will be welcomed right as students return.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs across various age groups
- Exceptional organization and time management for multi-site assignments
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver services both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student goals
