As several students transition into new grades, your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in supporting their communication and academic growth across elementary, middle, and high school levels. With a current SLP retiring, there’s an immediate need for six passionate professionals to deliver in-person services for an established caseload (targeted at 50-60 students).
School assignments are tailored based on your skills and preferences, with openings available from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Whichever level you’re placed in, you can expect a supportive team atmosphere and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license/certification for the state
- Experience providing SLP services to K-12 students
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability for serving diverse student populations and age ranges
- Commitment to delivering engaging, evidence-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure continuity of services
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and documentation as required
- Support students’ academic and social-emotional success through targeted interventions
Schedule Details:
- Elementary: 7:30am-4:00pm
- Middle: 7:45am-4:00pm
- High: 8:30am-4:00pm
