An exciting opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding role in a dynamic school setting near Hollywood, FL. For the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, six SLPs are needed to join a collaborative team focused on delivering in-person support to students across all grade levels, K-12. With the current SLP retiring, there is an immediate need to continue high-quality services for a large number of students in need.
These contract positions offer placement in elementary, middle, or high school environments, depending on expertise and preference. The caseloads are thoughtfully managed, with efforts to maintain each between 50-60 students. Schedules vary by placement: Elementary schedules run 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Middle School from 7:45 am - 4:00 pm, and High School from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure/certification to practice as an SLP in Florida, or eligibility
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage and organize therapy for a diverse caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
