We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, in-person school-based position in Homewood, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is within a Special Education Cooperative, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a meaningful impact.
Overview
• Provide speech-language therapy services to students ages 3–21 (based on assignment/program)
• Work a consistent 35-hour per week schedule
• Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families
• Deliver services in a structured, supportive school setting
Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide therapy for articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication disorders
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and attend IEP meetings
• Support students across a range of developmental and educational needs
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Compensation
