Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure or eligibility as an SLP in Hawaii
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital service delivery is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs of students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies tailored to each child
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both in-person and through teletherapy, to ensure access and consistency
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other multidisciplinary team members to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing progress monitoring and reporting
  • Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based SLP, continuing professional education as required
