Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in grades 3-5 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers the chance to support young learners at the elementary and middle school levels, with a manageable caseload of 35 students aged 8-11. The assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through May 21, 2027, providing you with long-term consistency and impact.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active SLP license in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
  • Compassion and enthusiasm for working with school-aged children

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students in grades 3-5, providing direct speech-language services
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress reviews
  • Maintain organized documentation and adhere to school and district policies
  • Deliver therapy services to students at both Greenville Elementary School and Greenville Middle School
