Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain by June or July for out-of-state applicants)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Background in school-based speech therapy (elementary, middle, high school experience considered an asset)
- Comfortable providing services through various models, including virtual (Voco SLP)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to changing student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to support educational success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary conversations
- Adapt therapy plans to virtual platforms as needed to ensure consistent student support
