This full-time contract position spans from August 13, 2025, to May 27, 2027, providing services to elementary, middle, and high school students. Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain by June or July for out-of-state applicants)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Background in school-based speech therapy (elementary, middle, high school experience considered an asset)
  • Comfortable providing services through various models, including virtual (Voco SLP)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to changing student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver therapy to students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with staff, teachers, and families to support educational success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary conversations
  • Adapt therapy plans to virtual platforms as needed to ensure consistent student support
