Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
• Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
• Collaborative attitude and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Provide direct therapeutic services to students individually or in groups
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Offer consultation, resources, and training to school staff as needed
