This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support within multiple elementary and middle school settings in the Hopkins, MN area. The position offers a unique chance to cover maternity leave absences by delivering direct speech therapy services with a caseload that includes typical elementary school students as well as some in Setting III CDC. This role operates under a 3:1 service model, providing three weeks of direct therapy followed by one week of indirect services.

Key Details:

  • Location: Hopkins, MN (with assignments in nearby elementary and middle schools)
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Dates: Vary based on maternity leave coverage, with several short-term assignments spanning from December through May
  • Caseload: Therapy-only (evaluations handled by separate team) in a school setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license or CCC-SLP certification
  • Experience working with students in elementary and middle school environments
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule serving multiple school locations
  • Familiarity with educational caseloads including Setting III CDC students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes based on therapy sessions
  • Engage in indirect service activities during designated weeks to support ongoing student progress
