School Speech Language Pathologist - Hopkins, MN

Step into an impactful role supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school environment. This exciting contract opportunity focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to elementary students in grades K–5, with responsibilities split between two welcoming buildings and an approximate schedule of 23 hours per week (0.6 FTE). The caseload will be finalized closer to your start in Fall 2026.

As a vital part of the educational team, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to enhance student communication, strengthen social development, and help children achieve their greatest potential. Your expertise will guide assessments, interventions, and personalized plans, making a lasting difference in each child’s school experience.

What we’re seeking:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Hold an active state SLP license
• Experience or strong interest working in a school setting with elementary students
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative team approach
• Familiarity with IEPs, speech/language assessments, and individualized intervention planning

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations to identify speech and language needs
• Developing and implementing targeted therapy sessions
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff for holistic student support
• Participating in IEP meetings, providing documentation and progress tracking
• Engaging with families to inform and involve them in the therapy process
