Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting students with a diverse range of speech and language needs. This full-time contract role provides the chance to make a real difference in the academic and social development of K-12 students, with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 individuals. You’ll collaborate closely with educational staff and families, utilizing your clinical expertise and creativity to foster communication success across various settings.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • School-based SLP experience and comfort working with a K-12 caseload
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
  • Experience with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy approaches is a plus
  • This role is not open to SLPAs unless you can provide supervision

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to foster optimal student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support students’ social and academic achievement through individualized and group sessions
  • Utilize both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed
