What you'll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (required)
- Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as well as experienced SLPs
- Florida SLP licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience in school settings, pediatrics, or with diverse student populations preferred
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Role responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver tailored, evidence-based therapy in both individual and small group sessions, 2-2.5 days per week onsite
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate effective strategies that support each child’s communication goals
- Maintain thorough progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and growth-minded school environment, advocating for student needs and celebrating their successes
