School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Houghton Lake, Michigan

Take your Speech-Language Pathology expertise to the next level by making a difference in the lives of students for the upcoming 26/27 school year! This full-time contract opportunity spans the academic year from August through early June near beautiful Houghton Lake, Michigan. You'll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students, ranging from preschoolers to high school seniors, fostering communication success and empowering young learners each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for Michigan licensure)
• SLP-CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome to apply
• School-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical skills in all settings valued
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Passion for working with PreK-12th grade students with varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across a varied caseload
• Conduct assessments and write thorough, actionable evaluation reports
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Track student data, maintain compliance with all documentation and timelines
• Offer consultative supports for classroom educators and families as needed
