Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Familiarity with AAC devices
- In-depth understanding of IEP processes
Preferred Experience:
- Comfortable supporting both full-time and part-time schedules
- Background in pediatric and school settings is beneficial
- Teletherapy and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience welcomed
- Experience collaborating with SLPAs and other allied health professionals
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Work closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all services provided
