Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Houston, TX

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous
• Proficient in working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Familiar with developing and implementing IEPs
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPA collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a varied pediatric caseload
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
• Collaborate closely with families, educators, PT/OT professionals, and SLPAs to ensure integrated care
• Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to meet compliance requirements
