Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Proficient in working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Familiar with developing and implementing IEPs
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and SLPA collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for a varied pediatric caseload
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, PT/OT professionals, and SLPAs to ensure integrated care
- Track and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Complete thorough and timely documentation to meet compliance requirements
