Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility (or actively in process)
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience utilizing AAC devices
  • Familiarity with IEP development and participation
  • Previous experience in an educational or pediatric setting is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary professionals including OTs, SLPAs, and PTs
  • Regularly assess and report student progress to facilitate effective interventions
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards
