Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting highly valued
- Skilled in the use of AAC devices
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans to meet each student's specific needs
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, SLPAs, PTs, OTs, and other team members
- Track student progress and report findings to appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all students
