Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting advantageous
- Comfortable working with AAC devices
- Well-versed in developing and managing IEPs
- Open to supporting clinical fellows (CFY) and collaborating with SLPAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations
- Develop, document, and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Communicate and coordinate care with caregivers, family members, teachers, and interdisciplinary educators including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
- Monitor student progress, updating strategies and goals as needed to drive positive outcomes
- Maintain meticulous documentation and records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
