Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP TX licensure (or eligible); SLP-CCC or completing CFY—both are encouraged to apply
- Prior schools-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Familiarity with contemporary speech-language therapy methods and caseload management
- Experienced SLPAs will be considered; must demonstrate strong school-based skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a strong asset
- Collaborative, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and maintain documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide progress reports and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input on communication needs, and support classroom integration
- Utilize both in-person and remote/virtual service delivery, as needed, for hybrid schedules
