A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Greater Houston area, including North Houston neighborhoods such as Bammel, Westfield, The Woodlands, and Aldine. This contract position is ideal for skilled professionals with experience in school-based settings and a passion for pediatric healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments and provide therapy services to students according to individual education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school policies.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs, including bilingual populations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required.
- Experience working in schools or pediatric healthcare preferred.
- Licensed or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
- Experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may be considered.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a strong plus.
- Open to hybrid schedules combining on-site and remote work.
Location: Spring, TX, with travel across North Houston districts such as Bammel, Westfield, The Woodlands, and Aldine.
