Work on-site across primary and elementary settings, impacting speech and communication outcomes in educational environments at one (or occasionally two) school locations. With an engaging, diverse caseload of approximately 60 students and opportunities to supervise as a CCC, this contract role offers professional growth and daily rewards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Texas is required
  • Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) preferred; supervision opportunities available for qualified CCC holders
  • Will consider Clinical Fellows (CF) eager to develop expertise in schools
  • Previous experience in a school-based SLP setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable managing a caseload around 60 students and collaborating with school teams
  • Flexible and adaptable to serving one or two schools as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services that support students with speech and language needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other school professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide supervision and mentorship when qualified, especially for SLPA staff or CFY candidates
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
