Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Texas
  • Prior experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students of varied backgrounds and needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, diagnoses, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment and education plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other school staff
  • Maintain accurate student records and track progress
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and compliance with relevant guidelines
  • Offer support and education to staff and families regarding speech/language development
