Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services for the 2026/2027 school year. This part-time position, approximately 2.5 days per week (around 20 hours), is ideal for an SLP seeking flexibility and meaningful impact with students.

Support the learning journey of children by assessing speech, language, and communication needs, collaborating with educators and families, and implementing evidence-based therapy plans. This role requires commitment to fostering growth and communication confidence in a diverse school setting near Houston, TX.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Current SLP licensure (or eligibility) in Texas
  • Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with articulation, language, fluency, and social communication disorders
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
  • Utilize technology and adaptive tools to enhance student access to services
