Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in SLP
  • Previous experience in school environments preferred
  • Familiarity with supporting both primary and elementary age groups
  • Proficiency with conducting speech-language evaluations and ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
  • Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when assigned

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise assigned SLPAs while maintaining compliance with district and state standards
  • Conduct detailed speech-language evaluations for students
  • Lead, organize, and facilitate ARD meetings focusing on students’ speech-language needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Coordinate with educational teams and families to provide updates and recommendations
  • No direct therapy provision required—focus will be on evaluation, supervision, and collaboration
