Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist License in Texas
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings, particularly supporting early learners
  • Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Comfortable conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Proficient in leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with faculty, staff, and families
  • Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide expert supervision to SLPAs working within the assigned campuses
  • Complete thorough speech-language evaluations and generate detailed reports
  • Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, ensuring a student-centered approach
  • Serve as a resource to school teams—no direct therapy services required
  • Coordinate with teachers and support staff to address student needs
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements for student services
