Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist License in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in school-based settings, particularly supporting early learners
- Skilled in supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Comfortable conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Proficient in leading ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Effective communicator and collaborator with faculty, staff, and families
- Detail-oriented, with strong documentation and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide expert supervision to SLPAs working within the assigned campuses
- Complete thorough speech-language evaluations and generate detailed reports
- Facilitate and participate in ARD meetings, ensuring a student-centered approach
- Serve as a resource to school teams—no direct therapy services required
- Coordinate with teachers and support staff to address student needs
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements for student services
