With the current SLP retiring, there is a significant need for dedicated professionals to deliver in-person support, impacting the academic growth and communication skills of many students. Multiple positions are available, with assignments in elementary, middle, or high school based on experience, preference, and district needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and certification required
- Experience supporting K-12 students strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Compassionate, adaptable, and organized approach to caseload management
- Strong communication skills; commitment to fostering student success
Responsibilities Include:
- Providing assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy to students in person
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
- Delivering intervention services across multiple grades, from 1st to 12th
- Monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and maintaining compliance with state/federal regulations
- Consulting and collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote students' communication goals
- Participating in IEP meetings and offering expertise to support best practices in speech and language development
Available positions span Elementary (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), Middle (7:45 AM – 4:00 PM), and High School (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) sites, allowing professionals to select settings that best align with their interests and skills.
