Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP licensure in Texas (or eligibility)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but accepting strong CFY candidates
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly valued, but clinical and broader backgrounds also welcome
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and students
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, growth-oriented atmosphere for learners of varying needs and backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
  • Support general education and special education classrooms with resources and strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insights to guide student success
  • Use evidence-based practices to deliver direct and consultative services across all grade levels
