Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFYs considered
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, though strong clinical skills in related settings will be considered
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a diverse range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and AAC
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and compliance with all state/federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student planning
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to each student’s needs
- Offer consultative support to educational staff and family members
