Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFYs considered
  • Previous school-based experience is a plus, though strong clinical skills in related settings will be considered
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with a diverse range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and AAC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and compliance with all state/federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student planning
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to each student’s needs
  • Offer consultative support to educational staff and family members
