Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Texas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Consult with classroom teachers and other educational staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student plans
  • Educate and support families on communication strategies as needed
