Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure (or eligibility)
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Previous school-based experience is a plus
• Proficiency with AAC devices
• Knowledge of developing and overseeing IEPs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, and related service professionals such as PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
• Monitor and record patient progress, maintaining timely and accurate documentation
