Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Proficiency with AAC devices
- Knowledge of developing and overseeing IEPs
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with caregivers, families, and related service professionals such as PTs, SLPAs, and OTs
- Monitor and record patient progress, maintaining timely and accurate documentation
