School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Howard, Pennsylvania

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Pennsylvania as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children or within early intervention programs preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Capacity to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to preschool-aged students in onsite school settings
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans that address students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, educators, and families to support each child’s learning and progress
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
• Utilize evidence-based interventions to foster social, academic, and communicative growth
• Adapt to the unique needs of early intervention and preschool-aged learners, creating an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
