This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Howell, MI. The role involves providing essential speech and language services in a school setting, supporting students' communication development and addressing a variety of pediatric speech and language disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes in compliance with school regulations
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP planning
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working pediatric populations, specifically within school environments
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) or eligibility to complete CFY
