Support students’ communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming, dynamic elementary school environment. This contract position covers a maternity leave, with the opportunity to make a positive impact on children from Young 5 through 3rd grade. The assignment begins mid-September and concludes in December, offering a consistent part-time schedule with 6-hour days, four days per week (24 hours per week).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Hold, or be eligible for, appropriate state licensure
  • Open to SLP-CCC and strong Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates
  • Experience in schools or with pediatric populations highly valued
  • Effective communicator and flexible team collaborator
  • Commitment to inclusion and student-centered therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement targeted IEP-based interventions
  • Manage an elementary caseload, focusing on functional communication goals
  • Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
  • Document services and maintain thorough student records
  • Participate in team meetings and provide consultative support as needed
