This rewarding position begins as soon as possible and continues through early June 2027. You’ll provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of five elementary-age students, collaborating closely with educators and support staff. Your expertise will help create an encouraging and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting communication growth and social development for those in an autism program setting.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid or pending state SLP license (Clinical Fellow (CFY) or CCC considered)
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Background in school-based speech therapy or resource classrooms is a plus
- Familiarity with autism spectrum support needs
- Ability to collaborate within inter-professional teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for students with communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and classroom support staff to integrate communication goals across settings
- Maintain consistent documentation and progress monitoring for all students
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent consultations as needed
