Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time, Onsite

School Year: 2026–2027 District: Brighton School District Location: Brighton, Michigan Hours: 37.5 per week Assignment: Single school site (5th/6th grade building)

Position Overview

Brighton School District is seeking a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This role serves a 5th/6th grade building, providing direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborative support within a single school site.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct therapy services for students in individual and group settings

• Speech-language evaluations and written eligibility reports

• Development and implementation of IEP goals; participation in IEP meetings

• Collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Maintenance of accurate documentation aligned with district, state, and federal guidelines

• Support for students using AAC when appropriate

• Contribution to a positive, team‑oriented school environment

Requirements

• Michigan SLP License (active or eligible)

• Ability and willingness to work onsite

• Experience with school‑based caseloads preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
