A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) is sought for a contracted position in an elementary school serving grades K-5. This opportunity is located approximately one hour north of Wilmington, North Carolina, offering a full-time schedule of 39 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 45 students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support students' educational and communication needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and report on student progress to parents, teachers, and administration.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility/completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a sizeable caseload effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
