Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations and school-aged children
- Understanding of IEP processes, best practices in therapy, and collaborative consultation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to K-12 students
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal setting, and documentation to meet student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students’ communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and district requirements
- Stay current on relevant therapy techniques and educational trends
