School Speech Language Pathologist - Hudson, CO

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a contract opportunity supporting K-5 students in a dedicated center-based program for children with intellectual disabilities. Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary students
• Familiarity with AAC devices and adaptive communication strategies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to navigate IEP processes and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with a variety of communication challenges
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver both direct and indirect services following each student’s IEP
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, specialists, and families to support student goals
• Consult with teachers and support staff to implement communication strategies across school environments
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of students with intellectual and developmental disabilities
