Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Holds or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- New York State SLP license (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
- Understanding of evidence-based practice and IEP processes
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a full-time caseload of K-12 students with varied speech and language needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
- Write progress reports and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams
- Utilize creative and engaging strategies to best reach each learner
- Receive CF supervision if required, with ongoing mentorship and support
