Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Hudson, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Holds or eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• New York State SLP license (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings preferred
• Understanding of evidence-based practice and IEP processes
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage a full-time caseload of K-12 students with varied speech and language needs
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student success
• Write progress reports and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Utilize creative and engaging strategies to best reach each learner
• Receive CF supervision if required, with ongoing mentorship and support
