Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC) to support young learners in vibrant educational settings near Hudson, NY. We're seeking a dedicated professional who can make a real impact across two schools, with an opportunity to work with children ages 3-5 and help shape their communication skills for life.
This contract position offers flexibility: We prefer one full-time SLP who can serve both locations, but part-time arrangements can be discussed. You'll spend full days at a single site, minimizing travel and allowing for meaningful engagement with your students and colleagues.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in New York State with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience with early childhood (ages 3-5) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt service levels as student enrollment grows
- Collaborative, enthusiastic, and patient approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to preschool-age children in small group or individual sessions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster optimal learning outcomes
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Strategically plan therapy to accommodate fluctuating caseloads and session requirements
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance service delivery
