School Speech Language Pathologist - Hudson, New York

Make an impact supporting early learners in a dynamic educational environment working with children ages 3-5 in a contract Speech-Language Pathologist role. You'll split your efforts between two supportive schools – one in Pine Plains and the other in Mt. Marion – with the convenience of spending each full day at a single site. This flexible opportunity is ideal for SLPs seeking full-time involvement across both schools, though experienced part-time applicants will also be considered.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with the preschool population (ages 3-5) preferred
• Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing caseloads efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy for preschoolers in a school setting
• Conduct up to 10 therapy sessions per day, coordinating with teachers and families to support students’ individual needs
• Develop and maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
• Adjust frequency and approach as student enrollment and needs change, especially at Mt. Marion, where initial caseload will grow over time
• Collaborate with special education teams to craft and implement IEP goals
• Travel between the two schools as scheduled (no daily commuting required)
